My name is June, I’m a certified Yoga Teacher. I have received my 200-hour certification in Rishikesh, India (Dhyan Mandir Ashram), and an additional 200 hours in Pachamama, Costa Rica. Originally I am from Latvia, however, UK has become my second home. My aim is to help others find a balance between their bodies and minds in this fast-paced, unpredictable, crazy, but yet beautiful world. I also aim to empower, uplift and inspire a wellness lifestyle.
I practice yoga for over 8 years, I also have a large history in sports, which began with fencing, where I competed internationally for over 10 years. It shaped me into a strong warrior, developed a strong spirit and love for freedom. I have, however, ended up in a corporate world, being chained to the desk for years. During this time, sports and yoga gave me the power to keep on going. To me, yoga became a form of medicine.
As a free spirit I have always been in search of extraordinary experiences, however, it took a critical point in my life to motivate me to take the plunge and grab onto a new adventure. I decided to take control and change my life, risk it all and follow my heart. I quit my job, gave my landlord notice, packed my 15 Kg backpack and started to fly the path in making my dream come true.
